Crates
General#
Crates sit at spawn and hold randomized rewards, from money and spawners to exclusive gear and Frank skins. Opening a crate takes its matching key.
Keys come from all over: voting, quests, milestones, completing the parkour, rare pulls inside other crates, the Omnishop, and the web store, where the Crate Key Pack (button at the top of this page) covers all four main tiers.
Every crate page below lists its full live reward pool with rarity tiers from Common up to Legendary.
The Crates#

Luck Protection#
Every crate tracks how many times you've opened it. Reach its Luck Protection count and your next key doesn't roll: it opens a menu where you choose any reward you like. A lucky pull along the way never resets your progress, only spending a pick does. Check your progress on the Luck Protection icon in the crate's preview.

Crate keys and permanent unlocks can't be chosen as a pick. The Halloween Crate is the exception: its skins and cosmetics can be picked, though its keys still can't.
Progress is per season on competitive profiles. Each competitive profile counts its own opens, so when a new season starts your progress starts over, and a pick you haven't spent stays behind with the old season. Spend your pick before the season ends. Casual profiles all share one count that carries over.
Seasonal Crates#
Seasonal crates like the Halloween Crate rotate in during special events with exclusive tool skins and cosmetics and disappear when the event ends. Their exclusives don't return, so open seasonal keys while they last. Past seasonal crates, like the Summer Crate, are no longer available.
