Forge
General#

The Forge at spawn is where the mines pay off in power. Bring Cores earned from mine bosses to the Blacksmith and forge the six armor set tiers, each one built from the last.
Blacksmith#
The Blacksmith forges armor piece by piece: each craft consumes the previous tier's piece plus one Core from the matching mine boss. The starting tier begins with plain iron armor. Every piece traded in must be unenchanted and unaltered; if you've modified a piece, strip it first at the Refine and Restore anvil.
Bosses are summoned at ritual sites in the mines using their eggs, purchased from Sketchy Steve with Clusters.
The Armor Sets#
Sets are forged in order; each tier's page lists its full recipe and bonuses.
| Set | Tier | Per-Piece Buff | Set Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Miner Set | 1 | +5% Mining Speed | Night Vision |
| Protector Set | 2 | +10% Health | Resistance |
| Whisperer Set | 3 | +10% Speed | Slows Nearby Mobs |
| Toad Set | 4 | +10% Jump Height | Frog Leap ability |
| Crimson Set | 5 | +10% Attack Damage | Crimson Shoot ability |
| Overlord Set | 6 | +12.5% Speed, +25% Health, +12.5% Mining Speed, +12.5% Attack Damage | Strength |
Refine and Restore#
By interacting with the Refine and Restore anvil with an item in your hand, the held item is restored to its original state. This is necessary for upgrading armor, as added enchants and name changes must be stripped before a piece can be traded in. Name changes are lost, but enchantments are returned to you as a book, so think twice before enchanting a piece you plan to upgrade soon.
The anvil also fixes items from previous seasons that no longer work properly: hold the item and interact to restore it to its newest version.
