Mine Bosses

General#

Bosses can be found throughout the mines, with a boss room being present on each level. In a boss room is a ritual altar. By accessing the altar with its corresponding egg, a boss can be summoned. Bosses can pose a serious threat, doing a lot of damage and having a lot of health, as well as employing multiple skills to use against their attackers. Slaying a boss will grant great rewards, including a chance to drop reputation items, a guaranteed drop of a core item corresponding to their level, and a 50% chance of a second core. These core items can be used to upgrade equipment at the Blacksmith at spawn and to forge tools at the Tool Forge.

	Mutant Miner	Coal Mines	Obtain Coal Clusters in the Coal Mines. Trade 16 of them with Sketchy Steve for a Mutant Miner Egg, then use the egg at the altar in the coal mine to summon the Mutant Miner. It drops a Miner Core, with a 50% chance of a second.
	Ancient Protector	Copper Mines	Obtain Copper Clusters in the Copper Mines. Trade 16 of them with Sketchy Steve for an Ancient Protector Egg, then use the egg at the altar in the copper mine to summon the Ancient Protector. It drops a Protector Core, with a 50% chance of a second.
	Frost Whisperer	Iron Mines	Obtain Iron Clusters in the Iron Mines. Trade 16 of them with Sketchy Steve for a Frost Whisperer Egg, then use the egg at the altar in the iron mine to summon the Frost Whisperer. It drops a Whisperer Core, with a 50% chance of a second.
	King Toad	Emerald Mines	Obtain Emerald Clusters in the Emerald Mines. Trade 16 of them with Sketchy Steve for a King Toad Egg, then use the egg at the altar in the emerald mine to summon King Toad. It drops a Toad Core, with a 50% chance of a second.
	Crimson Fang	Redstone Mines	Obtain Redstone Clusters in the Redstone Mines. Trade 16 of them with Sketchy Steve for a Crimson Fang Egg, then use the egg at the altar in the redstone mine to summon the Crimson Fang. It drops a Crimson Core, with a 50% chance of a second.
