The Surveyor's Compass is one of the relics of the old mines, pulled out of loot chests in the Iron Mine. It appears in all sections at roughly 0.28% per item rolled, so expect to open a lot of chests.

Tool Power#
The Surveyor's Compass can also upgrade the relics on your Season Tools pickaxe. It unlocks Swiftness I (Speed), and a second one unlocks Swiftness II (Speed II). Click it in the tool menu to unlock the power, and it is used up when you do.
