Radiation Tablet
General#
The Radiation Tablet does one thing: it removes radiation, and a lot of it for the price. It is the direct answer to the zombie classes that never need to touch you.

The two second cooldown is the shortest of any item, so tablets can be chained quickly. Two in a row is 60 radiation, which pulls you back from Critical to Low.
Getting One#
Not craftable. There is no recipe for it at all.
Sold in the Item Shop for 50 gold, which makes it the cheapest item on the board worth buying, and it stacks so a full stack costs one slot.

Why It Matters#
The Spitter and the Nuker do not infect you and often do not even damage you much. They fill you with radiation from a distance and wait. Against those two, armor does nothing and shooting back is frequently impossible.
Tablets are the only counterplay, which is why buying a stack of them is one of the strongest 50 gold decisions in the shop.
They do not cure infection directly, but if enough of them drive your radiation to zero while you are infected, the infection clears as well. That takes a lot of tablets and a Syringe is the proper answer, but in a pinch it works.
