General#
The Remington 700 deals 20 damage a round, more than double any rifle, and scopes in when aimed. It also chews through barricades faster than anything else a survivor can hold.
The cost is everything else. Five rounds, the slowest fire rate in the game, and it arrives with a single round chambered. 7.62mm is scarce and expensive to craft, so most of the time this is a weapon you fire two or three times a round.

Even at 20 damage, most zombie classes survive a body shot. The Hellhound at 6 hearts is the notable exception.
Getting One#
Found in chests, and craftable from a Remington 700 Base plus 3 Scrap Metal. The base is 300 gold in the Item Shop, the most expensive item on the board, and is the rarest base in common chests.

Ammo Bag is the priority on this weapon above all others. A stock Remington 700 hands you one round in a five-round magazine; maxed, it hands you a full magazine. That is the difference between a weapon and a paperweight when you find one mid-fight.
